Townhall Meeting - Pinellas County Tenant Bill of Rights

BAAA members are invited to attend this Townhall Meeting to discuss a Tenant Bill of Rights ordinance that Pinellas County is currently considering.  The Townhall Meeting is this Wednesday, June 15 at 11AM.  The discussion will focus on the content of the ordinance and our advocacy plan related to it.  We will be calling on all BAAA members to participate in this advocacy effort.  

Background

Pinellas County announced last week that it would consider a Tenant Bill of Rights ordinance. The County’s draft of this ordinance is modelled after a similar ordinance adopted last year by Hillsborough County.  We expect the Commission will consider adoption of this ordinance next Tuesday, June 21.  You can view a COPY OF THE ORDINANCE HERE.
