Submit a Proposal to Participate in Maintenance Labs!

The Florida Apartment Association and the Bay Area Apartment Association are seeking interest in participation for our first-ever Maintenance Labs, taking place July 9, 2026, at the SEC, Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa, FL. 

We're looking for educational and hands-on demonstrations led by expert instructors. Sessions should be tailored toward relevant maintenance topics (examples below) that are crucial to the success of on-site multifamily maintenance teams.

Submission Details

Suggested category topics for submission:

  • Appliances
  • HVAC
  • Outdoor Amenities
  • Plumbing
  • Smart Home/Access Control
  • Low Voltage Electrical

  For consideration, the instructor must:

  • Demonstrate subject matter expertise by providing in-depth details and relevant examples on the submitted topic.
  • Have the ability to speak to multiple product lines/areas of expertise preferred.

Lab Criteria

  • Each lab area will feature a schedule outlining designated times for various hands-on experiences and educational topics, allowing attendees to choose where they would like to spend their time throughout the day.

  • We encourage you to design your lab to showcase a broad range of your expertise while offering value to attendees across all experience levels, including intermediate and advanced participants.

  • Safety is critical in all areas, and we encourage you to make it one of the primary focuses of your lab as it relates to your topic.
