Light up the CITY IN PINK this October for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October 1st and continues through October 31st

BAAA is partnering with CREW Tampa Bay to encourage Property Managers and Suppliers to light up their exterior clubhouse and entry way with pink lights. Let’s light up Greater Tampa Bay in PINK!

Members can also participate by:
  • Adding pink flowers
  • Pink bows
  • Pink wreaths
  • Lighting up fountains in pink
  • String pink lights

Members that participate will be featured on the BAAA website, social media and recognized at the November dinner meeting as a staff.

CITY IN PINK is a reminder to stay vigilant in the fight for a cure and will be a touching tribute to breast cancer survivors and the lives that have been affected by the disease.

ABOUT CITY IN PINK

We are now 5 years strong raising awareness for Breast Cancer Awareness Month! Your displays of PINK remind our community to be proactive in their health as well as a touching tribute to breast cancer survivors and those lives that have been affected by the disease.

In 2018 we had over 40 buildings participate in lighting our CITY IN PINK for the month of October. With your participation this year we can make 2019 a tremendous success.  There are many ways to go pink.  The majority of our participants used Theatrical Gel Film to cover existing light fixtures, which is inexpensive and easy to install. You could also use: spot lights, string lights, LED’s, dye a fountain, display ribbons or pink flowers. Be creative!
