Help Applying for Pinellas County Rental Assistance
Pinellas County continues to provide up to $5,000 in rental and utility assistance for County residents financially impacted by COVID-19. The United Way through Tampa 211 is administering this program on behalf of the County. For more information, please see this PinellasCares Flyer. You can share the flyer with any resident interested in applying for rental assistance.
The application process for this assistance is entirely through electronic means. We know some of our residents may not have access to the internet or are not comfortable using the internet to apply for assistance. Recently, Pinellas County has authorized “community navigators” at some social service organizations to help residents complete and submit their applications for assistance to 211. Below is list of social service organizations that are allowed to help residents with their application for assistance. Residents interested in this help need to call before going to any of these organizations since they are only meeting with people by appointment due to the COVID emergency. A list of these organizations is also available in this one-pager.
Please share this information with any residents who cannot complete an application for assistance on their own.
