GART Conference Presentations

Posted By: Robert Griffiths (deleted) Advocacy News ,

The Bay Area Apartment Association had the pleasure of hosting the Government Affairs Roundtable & Legal Symposium August 1st - 3rd at Post Card Inn on St. Pete Beach. Every year, the conference is hosted by a different NAA Affiliate member. The 113 attendees were made up of Government Affairs Directors from various Affiliates, Association Executives, Corporate Attorneys for many of our Management Companies and National Apartment Association staff. Programming was broken out into Legal Sessions and State & Local Discussions. Below is the downloadable file of the presentations from the sessions for members and attendees use.

Thank You Conference Sponsors

  1. You can access all of the presentations from the GART here.

  2. NAA’s Policy Issues section is now available on and we want your feedback.

In this section of the website, you will find a wealth of information on 20 priority issues affecting the apartment housing industry. Your input helped us develop this new and improved section to be more intuitive and give you quick and easy access to advocacy resources on the issues you care about most. Please bear with us during our soft launch of the section. We are still in the process of adding resources and more issue pages. If you do not see a resource of interest, or an issue previously covered by this section, please reach out to Nicole Upano.

Finally, a gentle reminder that our disparate impact regulatory advocacy campaign is still live and we need your support. This is a significant opportunity to positively affect the HUD disparate impact rule. We are over 700 letters and climbing! If you have not already done so please take action here and send this link to your members or colleagues and ask them to do the same. It can also be accessed via the Advocacy365 Action Center or through the free NAA Advocacy365 mobile app. If you have questions, contact Peter Fromknecht.
