Maintenance Training Academy: Meet the Graduates

Please join us in meeting the new graduates from the Bay Area Apartment Association's (BAAA) Maintenance Training Academy. 

These individuals have successfully completed the BAAA's intensive, 4-week program. They are well-rounded professionals prepared to step into multifamily make-ready/turn/punch roles. Attendees who register and attend will receive a listing of all graduates contact information.

Our graduates have developed essential, hands-on skills, encompassing a robust set of practical and professional skillsets:

Technical Skills

• Core Repairs: Mastered Make Ready & Apartment Turn Basics, Basic HVAC, Appliance Repair, and thorough Plumbing & Electrical troubleshooting (covering clogs, faucets, outlets, and switches).
• Specialized Training: Completed focused modules in Drywall/Sheetrock Repair, Fire Watch, and Basic Smart Home troubleshooting.

Professional Development

• Critical Soft Skills: Focused on maintenance customer service and conflict resolution.
• Industry Compliance: Trained in essential industry expectations, including Miya’s Law and Fair Housing for Maintenance.
• Career Readiness: Prepared through comprehensive resume and interviewing best practices.
