Manatee County Launches Third Round of Rental Assistance

Manatee County has initiated a third round of its Housing Assistance Program to help residents financially impacted by the COVID emergency.  Households must be below 120% local AMI to qualify.  Residents of the City of Bradenton are not eligible for this assistance.  

Eligible residents will receive up to $10,000 in assistance to cover rent and utility needs through December 2020.  Funds may be used to pay future months of rent and utilities if there is continued impact from COVID-19 and a self-certification form is completed and signed on a monthly basis.  The County will accept applications for assistance through September 7, 2020 at 5PM, or upon 300 submitted applications. Applications will be processed on a first come, first eligible basis.
