Landlord and Resident Rental Assistance Help Available
County and State programs that provide Rental Assistance for residents experiencing an economic hardship due to the COVID emergency still have funding and are taking applications. Additionally, there are active programs in our area that are willing to work with property managers and landlords to trouble shoot pending assistance applications and work with you and your resident to complete applications for assistance.
Hillsborough County One-on-One Meetings
Hillsborough County’s Department of Social Services, which runs the County’s E3 Rental Assistance Program, is taking appointments for one-on-one meetings with property managers to review and troubleshoot pending applications for assistance. The meetings will be with County staff and you can review the status of the applications for all your residents. Many BAAA members have already gone through this meeting, leading to the resolution of many pending resident applications. If you are interested in setting up a one-on-one meeting, please contact me, Eric Garduno, at GAD@baaahq.org and I can facilitate scheduling an appointment with the County.
