BAAA Partnering with St. Pete for Housing Fair

Public Advisory (PSA),
Partnership Brings Housing Options and Resources to St. Pete

That Bay Area Apartment Association and the City of St. Petersburg are organizing a Housing and Apartment Fair on Wednesday, March 4, from 5-7PM at the Enoch Davis Center, located at 1111 18th Ave S, St. Petersburg, FL 33705.  All prospective renters are welcomed and encouraged to attend.

Representatives from over 20 apartment communities in St. Pete and throughout the Tampa Bay region will be on hand to showcase their properties.  Apartment communities participating in this housing fair range from affordable to luxury, all with units ready to rent.  Leasing staff in attendance will be able to answer questions about their communities, take applications, and schedule tours for prospective renters.

"Our members are very excited to partner with the City of St. Petersburg on this housing fair" said Eric Garduno, Government Affairs Director of the Bay Area Apartment Association.  "There have never been so many rental home options as we have today and this housing fair will give prospective renters a great cross section of what apartment living has to offer in St. Pete and across our region."

In addition to offering prospective renters a one stop shop to explore several rental housing opportunities, the City of St. Petersburg is also using this opportunity to provide home owners information on resources related to roof repair, lead paint abatement, and  exterior façade improvements.  “This event is about access,” said Avery Slyker, the City’s Director of Housing and Community Development. “Whether you are looking for an apartment or seeking assistance to repair your home, we are bringing resources directly to residents in one convenient location.”
