August 6 Launch of Manatee Rental Assistance Program
Manatee County is launching the second round of their CARES Act funded Housing Assistance Program that helps households financially impacted by the ongoing COVID emergency with rental and mortgage assistance. The program will accept up to 500 applications and provide up to $6,000 in assistance on a first-come, first-served basis. The County will begin taking applications at 8AM on August 6, and will accept applications through August 20. Applications for assistance must be completed online using the County’s Neighborly Portal. Applicants are required to provide landlord contact information and notice of outstanding rent due as part of the application process.
