In an unannounced move, Tampa City Council on Thursday, July 28, directed staff to draft a rent control ordinance. Their plan is to have it adopted by August 23, in time for it to appear on the November ballot.
We know that you have questions about what it means and how it affects you and your communities. We are holding a rent control town hall that will talk about the different ideas being discussed, and how you can join our industry's campaign against this measure.
This town hall is important for ALL BAAA MEMBERS to attend, including community managers, regional managers, corporate personnel, and suppliers.
