Scholarship Opportunity
To increase diversity and inclusion in the rental housing profession, Alexandra Jackiw, CAPS, CPM®, a Past Chair of the National Apartment Association (NAA) and Past President of the National Apartment Association Education Institute (NAAEI), established a scholarship fund in 2018 to provide professional development opportunities for the industry.
Scholarship winners will have course registration fees covered for two NAAEI credential programs: Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) and Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor (CAPS).
To be considered for the scholarship program, candidates must:
- Complete an application form including a resume, personal statement and letter of reference from their supervisor or a senior-level employee at their company;
- Be a member of a racial/ethnic minority group, lesbian/gay/bisexual/transgender or a person with a disability; and
- Be employed full-time as an early to mid-level apartment industry professional.
Applications must be submitted by Wednesday, July 31, 2019.
