'Spikes for Tykes' Volleyball Tournament

The Children's Home Network provides support to at-risk families and children in the Central Florida area. BAAA is proud to partner with TCHN in making them the beneficiary of the Spikes for Tykes Volleyball Tournament. For 13 years now, we have been able to provide The Children's Home Network with funding to better the lives of local children. Thank you for participating in this event and helping us to give back!

New this year! You can park across the street at Derby Lane (see orange square for where to park on the map below - parking is limited to 60 spots). Please utilize the crosswalk (marked as the orange pedestrian on the map below) and walk across the street to Kahuna's Grill for golf cart pick up. 

Courtesy of Valet Living, three golf carts will be available to provide drop-off and pick-up service to and from Rec Dec.

Please take a moment to read the Liability Waiver/Release below which goes into effect for all attendees associated with your registration including walk-ins and substitutes for the February 7th BAAA Spikes for Tykes Volleyball Tournament. It is your responsibility to ensure all attendees have been provided a copy of this Waiver/Release prior to the event.

WE understand that there are risks and dangers inherent in participating and/or receiving instruction in the above listed program. WE also understand that in order to be allowed to participate and/or receive instruction in this program, WE must give up our rights to hold The Bay Area Apartment Association, its management entity, members and sponsors liable for any injury or damage WE may suffer while participating and/or receiving instruction in this tournament.

Knowing this, and in consideration of being permitted to participate and/or receive instruction in programs, WE hereby voluntarily release The Bay Area Apartment Association, its management entity, members and sponsors from any and all liability resulting from or arising out of our participation and/or receipt of instruction. WE understand and agree that WE are releasing not only the entities set forth in the paragraph above, but also the officers, agents and employees of those entities.

WE understand and agree that this Waiver/Release will have the effect of releasing, discharging, waiving and forever relinquishing any and all actions or causes of action that WE may have had, whether past, present or future, whether known or unknown, and whether anticipated or unanticipated by us, arising out of our participation and/or instruction. WE understand and agree that this Waiver/Release applies to personal injury, property damage, or wrongful death which WE may suffer, even if caused by the acts or omission of others.

WE understand and agree that by registering for this event, WE are accepting full responsibility for any death or personal injury or property damage suffered by us while participating and/or receiving instruction at the tournament.

WE understand and agree that this Waiver/Release will be binding on us, our spouses, our heirs, our personal representatives, our assignees, our children and any guardians for said children.

WE understand and agree that by registering for this event, WE are agreeing to release, indemnify and hold The Bay Area Apartment Association, its management entity, members and sponsors harmless from any and all liability of costs, including attorney fees, associated with or arising from our participation and/or receipt of instruction in the above-mentioned tournament.

By registering and entering this event, you are authorizing the Bay Area Apartment Association to reproduce, copyright, use, publish, and/or display, now and hereafter, your personal image, name, likeness, photograph(s), testimonial for any legitimate association purpose for print/electronic usage.
