Bart Valdes founded the Tampa office of DSK Law in 2005 and is the Firm’s Managing Partner in Tampa. Bart is a Board Certified Specialist in Business Litigation by the Florida Bar. As a Board Certified Specialist, Bart is considered to be an expert in the area of business litigation. Board certification is the Florida Bar’s highest level of evaluation of the competency and experience of attorneys. Conlon has an extensive risk management and insurance background, prior to his role at April Housing working and managing claims advocacy, account management, and market placement relating to all things habitational with an expertise ranging from areas of commercial property, general liability, umbrella/excess, workers compensation, and other risk financing alternatives like parametrics and captives. Chris Conlon has also been featured commenting on the current conditions of commercial insurance marketplace, and tactics that owner operators can employ to better position themselves going into insurance renewals in publications such as Multifamily Florida, YardiMatrix, Multifamily Dive, NAA Units magazine, and University of Florida research from the Warrington College of Business. He is a graduate of the University of South Florida, and has Associate in Claims (AIC) and Professional Risk Consultant (PRC) designations from The Institutes.

Patricio Garcia

Patricio Garcia was born in Montreal, Canada and raised in Monterrey, Mexico. He received his Bachelor in Political Science, from the University of Ottawa, Canada.

He then went on to obtain a Graduate Certificate in Business Administration and Management from Harvard University and a Juris Doctorate from St. May’s University School of Law at San Antonio, Texas. In addition, he obtained a Graduate Diploma in Foreign Trade and Commercial Law from El Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM), at Monterrey, Mexico.

Patricio’s unique multicultural upbringing has led him to devote his practice primarily to all aspects of Immigration and Nationality law. Patricio is fully bilingual in English and Spanish, with a solid comprehension of French.
