 It's Time to Renew your BAAA Membership Investment!
It’s that time of year – time to renew your membership with 
the Bay Area Apartment Association. Seriously, where has the time gone?

 Meetings and events like the annual Trade Show,
Golf Outing, Awards and the many others offered
throughout the year would not be possible
without our wonderful volunteers, gracious sponsors,
supporters and dedicated staff. Thank you to everyone
involved in making BAAA great!
Membership renewal gives us an opportunity to reflect on 2019 and look forward to what 2020 will bring. But, don’t reflect too long – renew today! Now is the time to recommit to the rental housing industry and your professional growth through BAAA for another fantastic year!
 
BAAA has provided opportunities to learn and network in the greater Tampa Bay Area with more than 55+ in-person events this year. And, we are still not finished. There are even more professional development events to come in 2020!
 
Things to look forward to in 2020:
  • The newly enhanced Gold Standard Lease with upgraded features and litigation assistance
  • New Executive Director & Staff
  • 4 new Education Leadership tracks for professional growth
  • Over 50 networking opportunities throughout the year
  • Exciting new locations for our 2020 events
Our membership numbers continue to grow with over 190,000+ units 
and I could not be prouder to be part of this amazing organization
that brings together rental housing professionals across the greater
Tampa Bay Area, and you should be too.
 
Just look at all we, together, have been able to accomplish this
past year! BAAA continues to break records in membership and
event attendance. Thank you for a great year!

RENEWAL INSTRUCTIONS
Membership Renewal Invoices have been emailed to the Billing Contact on your company account. A courtesy reminder will be mailed on December 1st. Please note dues have increased 5% for community & supplier members.
 
To access your renewal invoice, login to your account here. On your Member Compass find the Accounting tab (example shown below). Please direct any questions to Membership Director Courtney Ferm at Courtney@baaahq.org or 813.882.0222 ext 4.
Dues to BAAA are not deductible as charitable contributions. For Federal Tax purposes, however, such dues may be deductible under other sections of the IRS code. Please consult your Tax advisor. In accordance with Section 6033 (E)(2)(A) of the IRS code, as amended, members of BAAA are hereby notified that an estimated 34% of your dues to BAAA for 2020 will be allocated to National and State lobbying and political activities, and therefore are not deductible as a business expense. I wish to make a $25.00 Voluntary Contribution to FL APAC. This is an optional donation & is included in the 2020 dues amount & is not tax deductible. Contributions to APAC are voluntary and are used for political purposes. Contributions are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes. A member is free to contribute more or less than the suggested amount & may choose not to give without reprisal from FAA or affiliate associations. Reinstatement fees apply for lapsed memberships.
