Implementing new technology should be so easy that even a 14-year-old can do it. I should know, my son Christopher, 14, takes care of this kind of thing. Whether it’s something on my phone, a decision to upgrade the house’s “smart” devices or working the GPS system in my car after we get lost—he figures it out. This strategy won’t work for apartment management companies, though, if for no other reason than they can’t hire a 14-year-old. In this issue, Les Shaver, Editor of Digital Content, reports on how apartment companies can bring new technology to their company successfully in “Make Sure Technology Rolls Out Successfully.” And as a bonus, check out “Smart-Home Technology: Confused on Confident.”
