Dear BAAA Members,
As most of you probably know, the Association has been managed by GMS, an association management company, for 30+ years. Over this time, BAAA has grown tremendously, in part due to an expanding market but mostly due to the incredible efforts and dedication from GMS.
Earlier this year, the Board of Directors decided to pursue a self-management option, including hiring our own staff and to obtain office space where we can hold future meetings and provide training and professional development. We are excited to enter this next phase of the evolution of BAAA as a professional trade organization representing our amazing members.
Nena, Cecily and the entire team at GMS has helped us create an amazing association and we want to show appreciation for all they have done. We will be holding a special thank you event on January 7 th at the Rusty Pelican and we hope you can join us. Information on the event is attached to this email, and you will need to register online at www.baaahq.org so we can get an accurate head count.
