If you are not ready to join, but would like more information about BAAA, please select the "Prospect" category at the bottom of the page.

Community/ Owner Members are the local apartment community's physical site. Dues are based on the number of units for each property that is joining. (Dues are pro-rated for the months of April through September during the first year.)

Property Management Company Members are those who professionally manage Apartment Communities in the Bay Area and who desire to receive information about Association activities at the corporate office. Dues are $60 per year.

Associate Members are those companies that provide goods and services to our Community and Property Management/Owner Members. Dues are $360 per year. (Dues are pro-rated for the months of April through September during the first year.)

Associate Membership (Vendors/Suppliers) - $360.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No recurring payments Please complete the following information for the company that is joining the Bay Area Apartment Association as a supplier of products or services to the multi-housing industry.

Membership year is January 1 - December 31. New members joining during the second or third quarter shall have their dues pro-rated.

Community Membership - Free Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No recurring payments Please complete the following information for the community that is joining the Bay Area Apartment Association.

While the online membership fee is zero, once you apply, you will be contacted to pay the annual fee according to the following schedule:

0-24 Units......................$99
25-49 Units....................$119
50-200 Units..................$2.35 per unit
201-500 Units................$2.05 per unit
Over 500 Units..............$1.65 per unit

The above dues are figured individually by community on a cumulative basis. An example for a 504-unit community would be as follows:

The first 200 units @ @2.35 = $470.00
The next 300 units @ @2.05 = $615.00
The remaining 4 units @ $1.65 = $6.60
Total due for 504 units = $1,091.60

Property Management Company - $60.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No recurring payments Please complete the following information for the Property Management Company that is joining the Bay Area Apartment Association.

PLEASE NOTE: In order for you to qualify for this membership you must have an active local Community Member. If you do not currently manage any local properties, please call the BAAA office.

This membership ensures that all correspondence, meeting notices and magazines are sent to the PMC office as well as on-site. This also entitles the PMC to all NAA & FAA member benefits.
